Pay attention to what you are writing. Precision: the ‘er’ or ‘ir’ ending? Vocative?

Today I filled the house with smoke and peeled a molten lid off the ruined crumble. Today I was too hot, too cold, bored stiff.
Today I had really crap hair.

But I did it all listening to Aberfeldy, and then to Belle and Sebastian. The sudden peeping of the fiddle (fiddle, I think, violin quite possibly, answers on a postcard, please) over and into melody after the first verse of the Aberfeldy track makes me glow with happiness.
